MCKENNAH EDWARDS
TENNIS PROFESSIONAL
Tennis has been a big part of McKennah’s life for as long as she can remember. From the age of four, she had a racquet in her hand. Both her parents and her Uncle Kim were strong influences from day one. Tennis has always been a part of her family—her two sisters also played all the way through college.
McKennah competed in state-level, Midwest, and national tournaments. She was ranked #1 in Wisconsin across five different age brackets and won the State Open and Closed tournaments multiple times. In addition, she was invited four times to represent Wisconsin in the Junior Davis Cup/Marion Wood Baird Cup.
She played high school tennis at Fond du Lac High School, where she qualified for State all four years. During her sophomore year, she finished 6th in Division One. After high school, she went on to play at Saint Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota, where she set school records in both singles and doubles. That same year, she placed 2nd at the ITAs.
Teaching is one of McKennah’s strongest passions. She has assisted with lessons for many years and has been teaching independently for over a decade. She is PTR certified. McKennah’s goal is to make tennis enjoyable for everyone—no matter their skill level.
