ALEXANDRA SHIRCEL

TENNIS PROFESSIONAL

Alexandra was born and raised in Sheboygan and started playing tennis at Sports Core at three years old. Her and her brothers spent countless hours on the tennis court with their dad and in Sports Core tennis lessons. On weekends, their parents and grandparents drove them to tournaments all over Wisconsin and the Midwest.

Alexandra was a four-time state qualifier at Sheboygan North High School, and then continued her tennis career at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where she set the record for most career wins. At UW-W, she won conference and qualified for the Division III NCAA Tournament all 4 years. She also qualified for Nationals in both singles and doubles to become a three-time All-American, with career high rankings of #13 in singles and #11 in doubles.

After college, she taught tennis at Sports Core for six years. Then, her and her husband Andrew moved to Florida for a few years before returning home to Sheboygan last fall. Tennis has given her so many incredible experiences and friendships, and she hopes to pass on her love for the game to every player she has the privilege of coaching.
